Today I was preparing for a speaking engagement coming up in February, and was struck again by the power of Jesus’ statements about Himself. So much is said about Jesus, by both His fans and His critics. What does He say of Himself?

Surely He is the Christ, the Son of God!

I’ve been thinking on a Bible study for over a year based on the verses in Matthew where Jesus asks “who do you say I am?” and Peter says “you are the Christ, the son of the living God.” I would then ask my audience who THEY say Jesus is and does their life prove it? Now…I will go on to show verses that show who Jesus said He was/is. Thank you for your help! :) I have no idea when I will have the opportunity to share but I’m ready!! (I do teach a ladies class so…I have opportunity but we have lesson material. I’m waiting on that special invitation.)
