This weekend I had the honor of speaking at the first ever women’s mini-conference for Covenant Creek Community Church in Bellbrook, Ohio! I thoroughly enjoyed the time with this lovely group of women. Our theme was “Stopped In Your Tracks” – looking at how Jesus works through both our pain and our shame.

Session 1 we focused on Encountering Jesus in our Shame, looking at Jesus’ loving and profound interaction with the woman at the well in John 4, and what it means that the I AM has come for us!

Session 2 we focused on Encountering Jesus in our Pain, looking at Jesus’ relationship with Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, and how He ministers to them in a time of great grief as El Roi – the God Who Sees Me.
