Some good links…

This week I’ve read some great blog posts and such, so I’m going to participate in Monica from Daily Dwelling’s Friday Favorites!

My friend Julie at Come Have a Peace is a fabulous writer, and I have thoroughly enjoyed her series of reflections from a recent trip to Romania. This post made me hungry, and also made me hope that my heavenly dwelling is in the Romanian district. :) [While you're there you might want to check out her recipe for chicken soup, which is now on my "must make" list!]

Courtney at Women Living Well shared her wonderful ministry to her family by praying for them as she walks through the house. Use your housework as a time to pray!

Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations shared some great free programs that she uses with her blog – thank you!! :)

Clair at Mummy Deals explained the “planning around the sales” couponing/meal planning strategy – if you’re trying to whittle down your monthly expenses, start here!

If any of you are knitters, you need to check out my high school friend Jenny’s blog Knitting Like Crazy, and this post about her “yarn dying factory” in the basement is amazing to me! Jenny spins, dyes, and sells yarn. If you love beautiful yarn, her etsy shop is a must see!

On a serious note, Joel Rosenberg has had quite a few interesting/sobering posts this week about what’s happening with Iran and Israel. This post about Netanyahu’s speech to the UN was somber – keep watching the sky!

Happy Friday, everyone!

Just to make you go "hmmm…"

Check out this very interesting post from Joel Rosenberg about talk of moving to a single world currency…

Here are other articles about this topic:
Reuters – “U.N. Panel Says World Should Ditch Dollar
www.behindbluelines.com – “The UN Currency” and “The UN Currency II
WorldNetDaily – “One-world currency emerges … again

Stuff like this is almost hard to believe! I’ve heard students of prophecy discuss a future move like this my whole life, but it seemed far-off. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Great stuff to share this week!

Have you heard about Red Envelope Day?? What a great, simple way to let Obama know that the abortion issue has not been forgotten, and that Americans who care about this issue are not in the minority! Please participate along with us!

Homeschooling moms: check out these virtual field trips!

Organizing site extraordinaire: The Fly Lady

I put a link on a few weeks ago for Rose Publishing – have you signed up for their email list yet? Every week they send out a link to a free downloadable PDF image – these are great for homeschooling, Christian school teachers, or Sunday school teachers!!

Also, local friends – today is the last day of a sale at Berean Christian stores – all hardback books are 50% off! [you can get my favorite children's Bible, "The Jesus Storybook Bible" by Sally Lloyd-Jones for $9.00!]
