Meet Kristi

Welcome to my “online living room!”
If we were to meet in person (and perhaps we already have!), you would find that I am a nerd-at-heart who clumsily walks the line between introvert and extrovert. I love God’s Word and delight in teaching it to others. I am passionate and opinionated and am on the difficult journey of learning when to speak and when to be silent! Be forewarned that I often leave coffee stains in my wake.

I am deeply grateful for the greatest sanctifying influences of my life – NP, my husband of 10 years, our sensitive and shy 6 year old AG, our impulsive NASCAR-loving 4 year old LB, and our sweet one year old BW. God uses them daily to both bless my heart and also teach me time and time again that life really isn’t all about me! He seems to use the never-ending laundry pile and housework to challenge me, also…
We have recently embarked on the exciting journey of homeschooling! It fits us well and I am so thankful for the opportunity to invest each day into my kids, teaching them to know and obey God’s Word and marvel in this world He has made.
We live in Northeast Ohio and are active members in our local church. Late in the summer of 2011 I was asked to serve as women’s ministry director, and it has been my pleasure to invest my time and gifts into our local body in this way.
Between homemaking, homeschooling, and ministry tasks, my writing here is sometimes sporadic and has definitely changed focus multiple times over my past four years of blogging! When I’m feeling inspired to write I tend to focus primarily on Scriptural truths, devotional thoughts, and creative ways to engage kids in God’s Word. I would be honored if you would consider following in a reader or subscribing through email to join me when inspiration strikes!
